MISSION: The mission of CSP is to “inform, educate, advocate and organize socially and economically disadvantaged tenants and people of color to take action to preserve and increase the supply of affordable housing in the metro area. We fulfill our mission by working with the community to actively pursue policies that promote multiculturalism.”

Tenant Organizing:Working with tenant communities CSP organizers help low-income rental communities resolve issues through collective action.
Preservation Organizing: Organizing tenants living in federally assisted rental housing that is threatened with the loss affordability is often the only way to preserve this fragile but critically important source of housing affordable to low income tenants.
Tenant Advocacy: CSP uses an extensive support system to help tenants facing eviction, sub standard housing and other issues that threaten their stability and housing.
